Trucking Alliance Urges Technologies to Lower Large Truck Crashes

Tampa, FL – CBS affiliate WTSP examines how trucking companies could reduce large truck crashes, if their trucks utilize speed limiters and adopt other crash mitigation systems. Steve Williams, Chairman of Maverick USA and president of the Trucking Alliance, an industry safety advocate, is interviewed. Williams thinks the industry has an ethical responsibility to install technologies that can reduce injuries and fatalities from large truck crashes.
